The Red Crescent provides its services to more than twelve thousand visitors on the Day of Ashura

The Karbala branch of the Red Crescent Society announced today, Sunday, that it has provided services to more than twelve thousand visitors on the holy Day of Ashura.

Engineer Falah Mohammed Redha, the branch director, stated to Karbala News Agency that

"The Karbala branch of the Red Crescent provided services to over 12,000 visitors on the Day of Ashura."
He explained that
"The number of beneficiaries who received medical services, first aid, blood pressure and blood sugar testing, and wound dressing reached 12,280 individuals."

He added that

"One thousand identification badges were issued for children by the two missing persons centers near the central area and the statistics directorate. Additionally, 56 free phone calls were facilitated, and 7 temporary missing cases were handled, with the participation of 350 staff and volunteers — including 53 employees and 297 volunteers — distributed across six medical posts and seven mobile teams in the city center, as well as in Ain al-Tamur and Al-Hindiya districts."

Redha also pointed out that

"Five ambulance vehicles participated in the operations — two of them stationed at Al-Abbas Hospital and three in the city center — helping to transport emergency cases to health centers and hospitals across the city."
