Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:
"Whoever visits al-Husayn (peace be upon him) with recognition of his rightful status, Allah will forgive all his past and future sins."
(Kāmil al-Ziyārāt, p. 139)
This noble narration affirms the immense spiritual reward of visiting Imam al-Husayn (peace be upon him), especially when the visitation is made with awareness and understanding of his divine station. Such a ziyara becomes a means for the forgiveness of all past and future sins.
As we approach the blessed days of Arbaeen, let us renew our intentions with this pure and conscious devotion, recognizing who we are visiting — and why.
