From Imam al-Bāqir, Muhammad ibn ʿAlī (peace be upon them both):
Instruct our followers to visit al-Ḥusayn ibn ʿAlī (peace be upon them), for his visitation wards off destruction, drowning, fire, and being devoured by beasts. His visitation is an obligation upon everyone who acknowledges al-Ḥusayn’s divinely appointed Imamate.
— Kāmil al-Ziyārāt, p. 253
The visitation of Imam al-Ḥusayn (peace be upon him) is not merely a ritual —
It is a covenant of allegiance to the Imamate, a declaration of loyalty embodied through faith and action, a safeguard from worldly calamities, and a badge of honor in the Hereafter.
