The “Mufid” app has launched a free housing reservation platform for Arbaeen pilgrims in Iraq starting Safar 1 (July 26, 2025), providing access to free overnight accommodations in private homes and Husseiniyas with multilingual chat and 24/7 tech support. In collaboration with over 1,500 host sites in Iraq and Iran, the platform accommodates over 75,000 pilgrims daily, with participants from 25+ countries already onboard, showcasing a people-powered, high-tech humanitarian effort to enhance pilgrims’ comfort and safety.
